Wanted to share with everyone a project that our Sandra John Concierge team worked on this week. As you may know we offer professional picture hanging and when we received a request that a sports fanatic needed his new office decked out with all of his sports memorabilia collection, we jumped to the occasion. Below I have shared three picture of what the office looked liked before the installation of the memorabilia, and you can on the floor some of the pictures that we will have layout.

As you can see, these walls are bare!! The office looks great with all the new built in cabinetry but it still needs a personal touch to make it truly reflect how this is real sports fanatics office. We started with the side wall (top right picture above) and hung the most difficult and heaviest piece, a 40″w X 25″h display case that will be home to four wood bats and balls. After centering this display case we can then center the next smaller display case and Bath Ruth framed picture above. This wall was a warm-up wall for the next larger back wall.

After taking a deep breath before, we now can move on to the most challenging wall (bottom right above) and start hanging. We started with the largest piece which is centered on the wall and worked our way out from there and then we came up with a systematic approach on how to hang all the verticals on the top and bottom. The display cases are not yet filled but I am sure once they are filled the wall will look that much better.

This wall was difficult and took time in measuring and making positive that everything lined up correctly. In this above picture you can notice that some of the pictures are not 100% level but that is because this picture was taken before we used our secret trick to keep pictures staying level all the time. We are happy with the layout that we designed for this wall and we feel that it filled the space perfectly.
The last wall that we concentrated on was the built in cabinetry and TV area (picture on left above). This wall was all about placement and we decided that we wanted to raise the TV, so our first step was to move the wall bracket up so we could hang a picture above and put a display below the TV. We then added all the memorabilia to the shelves and watched a bare wall turn into something magnificent.

All-in-all this installation went great and we wanted to share our experience with how you can transform a bare room into a room filled with memorabilia or in different cases memories. Let us know what you think and you can always contact Sandra John Concierge for any requests.
