Cafe Shutters & Relaxed Roman Shades
Went to install new shutters the other day and wanted to share how you can use soft window treatments and hard window treatments together. This is a picture from a master bathroom that has two windows. The soft window treatments are called relaxed roman shades and these are made from a Cowtan & Tout fabric. They are adjustable to different lengths but these relaxed roman’s look their best when they are only down half of the window. To bring more privacy to the bathroom, the bottom half of the window needed better coverage so we decided to use cafe style wooden shutters. These shutters have 2 1/2″ wide louvers which will bring lots of coverage from the light outside and keep the bathroom private.
